About
Currently, I am studying studio art with a focus on photography and design at the College of Wooster. I will be graduating in Spring of 2016.
Given the honor of spending time as an artist’s assistant to Brooks Dierdorff (Professor of Art at Wooster College, and my Advisor for two years) for the 2013-14 academic year, allowed me to be part of a creative team. With Professor Dierdorff, I helped to facilitate every aspect of the creative process, from the initial idea and visualization to the execution of a work of art. The majority of these works of art eventually made their way to gallery exhibitions. I was proud and gratified that my ideas and contributions made a vital contribution to work I valued and appreciated.
As a participant of the 2015 Wooster Business Idea Competition, I presented a small business idea and plan I created to a panel of judges, all of whom are successful entrepreneurs. My product consisted of custom designed maps, combined with imagery of city skylines, creating a unique aesthetic exhibiting urban pride. I won the competition, and was awarded a significant investment for start-up of my business.
In the summers of both 2012 and 2014, I was awarded the opportunity to become a full- time photographer and videographer for The Holter Music Festival in Vittorio Veneto, Italy. The Holter chamber festival performed throughout several regions in Italy. My job consisted of single-handedly producing a short film and still photographs to be used as a promotional tool for recruitment. Post process editing included both Photoshop and After Effects.
Throughout my personal and commercial endeavors, I have acquired a unique skillset combining creative technique, open mindedness, as well as dedication to and pride in my work.
